About this tool
Use tool ↑Fit existing fabric to a finished width and obtain every fold and matching mark.
For dressmakers and curtain workrooms: enter flat and finished widths, pleat count and separate edge allowances, all in mm. Finished width excludes those allowances. Each pleat takes up twice its underfold depth. Marks are measured from the left raw edge. Supports spaced or overlapping knife pleats, not box pleats or circular skirts. Test fabric thickness on a sample.

How do I use marks A, B and C?
Bring A onto C with B folded underneath. Repeat in the same direction. Depth greater than finished pitch creates overlapping underfolds; the preview is not a full-size cutting pattern.
